The Company "Sergio del Casale" was born as a winery. Over time we have chosen to invest in quality. Our main intention has always been to make known the places, methods and those who worked to produce these wines. From here is born of the desire to create places where wine lovers could find yourself in tranquility, surrounded by the reality of our farm-family.

Do not miss the opportunity, to whom we will come to visit, spend time together in the tasting room, where you can taste and enjoy our wines, together with tasty typical products of Abruzzo.

The story of a family and making wine in the "golden land" ...

The lineage of the Del Casale grew up in prosperous "golden land" of Vasto, in Abruzzo. In a difficult time, around the end of 1800, is a weapon of good will ...

The land available is that of "costs", which is not the sea shore, but the steep slope of the valley, hard to work, but the best for production of good quality.

In 1920, Francesco Paolo, vinedresser stubborn, chose to remain despite the difficulties linked to the district of "San Biagio", earning the nickname "Vird' Vird' " (green green) for the dedication and care given to its vineyards.

Around 1950 the peasant struggles, show that many do not intend to give in to the urban and industrial mirage... Antonio, son of Francesco Paolo, became a grower and trader sloppy.

In 1993, Sergio, Antonio's son, brings the love of the countryside. He inherits all the patience, passion and above all the desire to work, characteristic of "Vird' Vird' ".
He decides to create a wine cellar with his wife Lucia, and giving life to a company that will grow day by day.

Today, Paola and Laura, the daughter of Sergio and Lucia, are the present and the future of the family and the company of "Del Casale".
